Hildebrandt picks up a quick takedown and locks up a leg lace for 4 turns, that will do it, 10-0 tech for Hildebrandt.

Quarterfinals – Sarah Hildebrandt vs Oksana Livach (Ukraine)

Nice slide-by for Hildebrandt as she picks up 2 on the edge to take a 2-0 lead. Livach has been put on the shot clock and will not score, 3-0 Hildebrandt headed to the break. Hildebrandt just bulls Livach to her back for 4 to extend her lead to 7-0. Another takedown for Hildebrandt to make it 9-0 with 1:18 left. Bad shot attempt by Livach and Hildebrandt makes her pay. Hildebrandt wins 11-0.

Semi-Finals – Sarah Hildebrandt vs Otgonjargal Dolgorjav (Mongolia)

Hildebrandt with a takedown to go up 2-0 early. Dolgorjav in on a shot and finishes, plus she adds a turn to take a 4-2 lead to the break. Hildebrandt is in on a single but well defended by Dolgorjav. Another shot but Dolgorjav counters perfectly to pick up the takedown and defeat Hildebrandt 6-2.

Bronze – Sarah Hildebrandt vs Emilia Vuc (Romania)

Single leg for Hildebrandt for 2 to make it 2-0 early. Hildebrandt back in on a single leg for 2 to make it 4-0. Head pinch from Vuc to pick up a takedown, it was deemed an offensive foul so no points. Hildebrandt picks up 3 straight takedowns to take home BRONZE with a 10-0 tech.

Winchester opens up with a takedown to take an early 2-0 lead. Ganbaatar is now on the shot clock and gives up a point. As the shot clock expires Ganbaatar gets in on a deep double to score 2 to make it 3-2 at the break. Winchester gets her turn on the shot clock in the 2nd period and gives up a point, it is 3-3 with Ganbaatar leading on criteria. Big throw from underhooks for Winchester straight to Ganbaatar’s back for 4, Winchester adds a step out point to make it 8-3. That will do it, Winchester wins 8-3.

Quarterfinals – Jaccara Winchester vs Roksana Zasina (Poland)

Winchester starts out with a takedown to go up 2-0 and that score will hold to the break. Zasina will be put on the shot clock to open up the 2nd period. Winchester picks up a step out point and the shot clock point to extend her lead to 4-0. Late takedown for Zasina to make it 4-2 but that’s it, Winchester wins 4-2.

Semi-Finals – Jaccara Winchester vs Mayu Shidochi Mukaida (Japan)

Shidochi Mukaida with a quick go-behind for 2 and takes an early 2-0 lead. Shidochi Mukaida in on a single leg for 2, she locks up a leg lace for 2 more turns and it is quickly 8-0. Winchester took injury time. Shidochi Mukaida finishes this match with a feet to back double. Shidochi Mukaida wins 12-0.

Bronze – Jaccara Winchester vs Mengyu Xie (China)

Winchester spins around for a takedown for 2. Winchester does a lift and turn for 4 points and then another for 4, China challenges. Challenge won, they give Xie 4 points for her own lift and 2 for Winchester for exposure, it is 8-4 in favor of Winchester. Winchester gets a takedown to make it 10-4 and that score holds to the break. Winchester gets a takedown and as she works for a tilt, Xie catches her on her back. Winchester is in a bridge for 30 seconds but Xie readjusts and picks up the fall. That’s it, Xie wins by Fall.

Maroulis counters for a takedown to make it 2-0. Another counter for Maroulis for 2 plus 2 on exposure to make it 6-0 at the break. Maroulis picks up a takedown and immediately into a lace to end it. Maroulis wins 10-0.

Semi-Finals – Helen Maroulis vs Davaachimeg Erkhembayar (Mongolia)

Erkhembayar is on the shot clock and Marouis the aggressor and picks up a takedown plus the shot clock point, 3-0 Maroulis at the break. Maroulis with a takedown and she has Erkhembayar in trouble. Maroulis with the Fall in 5:20.

Finals – Helen Maroulis vs Tsugumi Sakurai (Japan)

Maroulis is on the clock first and will surrender a point, Sakurai leads 1-0. That score holds to the break. Sakurai hits a go-behind for 2 in an odd sequence but nonetheless the points are on the board, 3-0 Sakurai. Time runs out with no score change. Sakurai wins 3-0 and Helen Maroulis takes home SILVER.

Bullen adds a late takedown and exposure to go up 8-0 at the break. Bullen opens up the period with a step out point, 9-0 Bullen. Nette in on a shot and after great defense she picks up 2 to make it 9-2. Bullen finishes it off with 2 straight takedowns to win 13-2.

Repechage – Abigail Nette vs Erdenesuvd Bat Erdene (Mongolia)

Bat Erdene goes on the shot clock but picks up a step out, Bat Erdene leads 1-0 and we go to the break. Nette is put on the clock in the 2nd period, she dives in on a leg but it is countered by Bat Erdene for 2. Nette is injured so there is injury time. Nette is back up but gives up a shot clock point, 4-0 Bat Erdene. Nette could not get anything going, Bat Erdene wins 4-0.

Round of 16 – Kayla Miracle vs Xiaojuan Luo (China)

Not much action to start out which results in Luo being put on the shot clock. Miracle picks up the shot clock point and then adds 4 with a takedown and exposure to make it 5-0. Luo goes inside trip for 2 to make it 5-2 at the break. Luo into a deep single leg and turns it into a double to get 2 and locks up a leg lace for another 2 to take a 6-5 lead with 1:49 left. Bad single attempt off the whistle for Luo and Miracle has Luo on her back to go up 7-6. Luo was also hit with caution and 2 to make it 9-6 with 48 seconds left. Big 4 pointer for Miracle off of a counter to make it 13-6. Miracle ends it a few seconds early with a takedown and exposure to make it 17-6 and she moves on.

Quarterfinals – Kayla Miracle vs Tetiana Omelchenko (Azerbaijan)

Omelchenko is now on the shot clock, Miracle takes a 1-0 lead with 45 seconds left in the 1st period. Miracle holds her 1-0 lead to the break. Miracle gets put on the clock and will give up a point. Omelchenko leads 1-1 on criteria with 1:45 left. Omelchenko is surprisingly put back on the clock only 30 seconds after Miracle was on the clock, Miracle now has a 2-1 lead with 40 seconds left. Miracle dices in on a shot and picks up 2 to make it 4-1. Omelchenko tries a shot but Miracle gets the score and that’s it. Miracle wins 6-1.

Semi-Finals – Kayla Miracle vs Ana Godinez Gonzalez (Canada)

Godinez Gonzalez opens up with a deep double, 2 is called but USA challenges. Challenge lost, takedown is confirmed so it is now 3-0 Godinez Gonzalez. Miracle in on a shot and Godinez Gonzalez is on her back and Miracle is looking for the fall, there it is. Kayla Miracle punches her ticket to the Finals with a Fall in 1:37.

Finals – Kayla Miracle vs Nonaka Ozaki (Japan)

Ozaki quickly with a takedown and a leg lace for 2 turns, it makes it 6-0 Ozaki early. Another takedown from Ozaki and that makes it 8-0 with 1 minute left in the period. Miracle looks for a throw but cannot get it and Ozaki locks up the legs and gets 2. Ozaki wins by 10-0 tech.

Velte opens up the scoring with a step out point to go up 1-0. Shortly after that Ulziisaikhan is put on the shot clock, she will give up the point giving Velte a 2-0 lead. Single leg for Velte to the edge and she wraps around the waist for 2 out of bounds, Velte leads 4-0 at the break. Velte hits a double leg takedown directly off of the 2nd period whistle to go up 6-0. Deep single into a double for Velte makes it 8-0, Ulziisaikhan exposes Velte to make it 8-2. Velte quickly with another takedown to go up 10-2. Ulziisaikhan picks up a step out point to make it 10-3, plus Velte is hit with caution and 1 so it is 10-4. Velte hits a double leg right to Ulziisaikhan’s back for 4 to end it. Velte wins 14-4.

Quarterfinals – Mallory Velte vs Miwa Morikawa (Japan)

Morikawa opens up with a takedown to make it 2-0. The score holds to the break. Morikawa was looking for points on the edge but no score, still 2-0 Morikawa. Time expires with no score change, Morikawa wins 2-0.

BRONZE – Mallory Velte vs Mimi Hristova (Bulgaria)

Velte with a physical step out point to go up 1-0 early. Hristova is also hit with a caution and 1 for fleeing so it is 2-0. Velte with a takedown after a go-behind to take a 4-0 lead at the break. Hristova with a takedown to open up the 2nd period to cut it to 4-2. Velte is in on a single leg for 2 to make it 6-2. Velte adds another takedown to go up 8-2. Finals – Tamyra Mensah-Stock vs Ami Ishii (Japan)

Mensah-Stock with 2 on a blast double takedown to take a 2-0 lead. Mensah-Stock spins around Ishii and Ishii is on her back in a lot of trouble. Mensah-Stock with the Fall for a World Championship in 2:10.
