Gurule is hit with passivity and goes down in par terre. Suiorkulov locks up a gut wrench and gets a turn so it is 3-0 Suiorkulov. Suiorkulov hits an arm drag to pick up a takedown to make it 5-0. Gurule was hit with caution and 1 to make it 6-0 and then Suiorkulov picks up a step out to make it 7-0 at the break. Suiorkulov looking for an arm throw but Gurule counters for a takedown to make it 7-2. Time expires and the score remains the same, Suiorkulov wins 7-2.

Leivesi picks up a point for passivity but could not turn Black on bottom. Leivesi goes with an arm spin and then will pick up points for a correct throw which makes it 7-0 at the break. Leivesi finishes the match off with a go-behind for 2. Leivesi wins 9-0.

Repechage – Max Black vs Koto Gomi (Japan)

Gomi picks up a takedown and locks up a gut wrench for 1 turn and it is 4-0 headed to the break. Black gets hit with passivity and goes down, Black defends well in par terre to hild the lead for Gomi at 5-0. Gomi with a takedown and a tilt to end the match. Koto Gomi wins 9-0.

Babashov picks up a step out point to go up 1-0. Drury is then hit with passivity and will go down. Babashov with some great par terre offense to get 3 turns to end the match. Babashov wins 8-0.

Quick takedown for Perez III to go up 2-0. Nadorgin will be hit with passivity and goes down in par terre. Perez III gets a big lift and throw for 4 points and now leads 7-0  the break. Start of the 2nd period and Perez III will pick up a step out point to end it. Perez III wins 8-0.

Round of 16 – Robert Perez III vs Zsolt Takacs (Hungary)

Takacs is hit with passivity to make it 1-0 Perez III. Perez III scores 4 on a lift and throw and then adds a step out to make it 6-0, Hungary challenges and loses so it is 7-0. Perez III finishes with a step out to make it 8-0 and he advances.

Koshkar picks up 2 off of a correct throw to go up 2-0. Then, Perez III is hit with passivity but does not give up any points so it is 3-0. Perez III gets a step out to cut the lead to 3-1 at the break. Perez III adds another step out and makes it 3-2. Koshkar is hit with passivity but no more points so it is 3-3 Koshkar with the lead in criteria. That’s it, Koshkar wins 3-3 on criteria.

Barbanos tries a headlock but Fedalen counters for 2 to take the lead. Barbanos counters a throw attempt by Fedalen for but Barbanos scores and Fedalen is on top to take back the lead at 4-2. Barbanos with a nice lat drop for 2 and a gut wrench for 4 more points. Barbanos picks up a step out and than an arm spin to end it. Barbanos wins 13-4.

Jacobson goes down first after passivity and Saricicek picks up 4 on a lift and throw, plus 2 more for exposure to make it 7-0 to the break. Saricicek gets hit with passivity and goes down, Jacobson cannot turn Saricicek so it is 7-1. Saricicek picks up rwo straight step outs to end it at 9-1.

Jacobson picks up a point on passivity but cannot put Hadanli on his back. That score holds to the break. Jacobson is now hit with passivity and Hasanli locks up a gut wrench for 2 more to take a 3-1 lead. That’s it, Hasanli wins 3-1.

Uspenski gets hit with passivity this time and goes down but has great defense and keeps the lead at 2-1. The score holds there and Uspenski moves on, winning 2-1.

Parvesh opens up with a takedown. Attao hits a headlock and gets a big 4 point move, Parvesh rolls it through to pick up 2 exposure points and it is 4-4. Attao hits a nice arm spin and takes Parvesh to his back, they stand up with Attao leading 8-4. Attao hits another headlock and Parvesh is on his back again. Attao wins the match 12-4.

Quarterfinals – Aden Attao vs Adolf Bazso (Hungary)

Bazso with a takedown and a four point lift and throw for 4 more points but Attao gets 2 on exposure in a scramble and it is 6-2. Attao tries a headlock but Bazso counters for 2. Big 4 point throw for Attao and he is looking for the fall. There it is, at the buzzer Attao gets the fall.

Semi-Finals – Aden Attao vs Mykhailo Vyshnyvetskyi (Ukraine)

Arm drag for Vyshnyvetskyi for a takedown and immediately locks up a gut wrench for a turn, it’s 4-0. Vyshnyvetskyi is going for a throw, he picks up 2 for a correct throw. Vyshnyvetskyi back in on the arm and this time it’s an arm spin for 4 and that’s it. Vyshnyvetskyi wins 10-0.

Bronze – Aden Attao vs Fekry Eissa (Egypt)

Attao starts out with a big 4 pointer off of a head pinch. Eissa picks up 2 of his own to make it 4-2. Attao has a headlock and throws it, 4 pointer again for Attao to make it 8-2 at the break. Step out for both wrestlers to make it 9-3. Eissa is looking for an arm throw but Attao will counter for 2 and make it 11-3. Score holds there, Aden Attao wins BRONZE 11-3.
